Charity supporting Homeless People
Helping Hands supports homeless and vulnerably housed people in Leamington Spa and Warwick. My support for this charity started during Covid, when I provided an interim solution. I accessed several emergency grants to help them to stay open and deliver vital services and developed a fundraising strategy for grants. We were recently successful with a National Lottery Reaching Communities application to cover core staffing costs over three years.
Charity supporting Older People
VASA changes lives by connecting people in Stratford, Warwick and Rugby. Over a period of three years, I offered freelance fundraising support, securing emergency grants through Covid, and helping them to access core and project funding from trusts and foundations and other sources. Thanks to a grant from Stratford Town Trust, we were able to complete a business plan and fundraising and marketing strategy, and they employed their first fundraiser last year.

Charity supporting people with a learning disability
Beyond Words supports people to enjoy reading through their word free books and resources. I helped them to successfully apply to National Lottery's Reaching Communities Fund to launch and produce their new 'Book Club in a Box' resources, and create hundreds of new community book clubs over three years
Heart of England Mencap supports people with learning disabilities across Warwickshire and Worcestershire to live their best lives! These murals were painted by customers with support of local artist Lucy Bergonzi thanks to a grant from Stratford Town Trust. Since leaving as Fundraising Manager I have supported with fundraising and helped them to raise capital funding to refurbish their residential building.
